Vinyols , comes from the vineyard
In the 19th century, Vinyols had two brandy factories, as well as two flour mills that showed the development of the population, which, since the second half of the century, saw or constantly increase its number of inhabitants.
Currently there is no vineyard planted in the municipality, but we enjoy having 5 denominations of origin close by with good wines and with many wine tourism proposals :
